Here is my finished Love quilt. You can't really see it in the pictures, (look at the back, upper left) but the off-white fabric (kona snow) has white white splotches on it!! I washed it and dried it and there they were. On both the back and front. It's not bleach because the colored fabrics are all fine.
Could it have be that the TIDE (not with bleach) that I threw in before I started the water, took the color out? I can't believe it and I am so disappointed. Is this an argument for pre washing fabric, or just putting detergent in water before putting in the quilt? I feel so stupid but I think that's gotta be it.
The quilt looks beautiful! I can't see anything in the photos. I know when you put that much work into something and it goes wrong at the end it is really disappointing. :(
