Well, this little blog is suffering a bit what with all my attention going to the store right now. Something had to give, I guess. Hopefully I'll be back on track once we're up and running.
Some sewing did get done for the store. I made some throw pillows using fabric from Pat Bravo's Modern Affair line and some medium gray Kona.
Lisa made new cushions for my flea market rocker from Kona Emerald. More Modern Affair fabric for the piping.
And my fantastic employee, Liz, decorated the check out desk with even more Modern Affair.

Sigh, I feel like I'm dreaming when I look at your store. It's sew, so lovely! You're doing a great job.

I'm gonna come visit you. :) In March! For real! We're going to LA over Spring Break (for Dave's work, tee hee!), so I'm going to come visit you! I will, of course, be bringing my sweet bundles o' joy along. As well as an empty suitcase to fill up with all that fabric love that I can't get my paws on around here!
I love the way the store looks, and I am SO DOGGONE EXCITED for you! You're gonna have the best sewing lounge west of the Mississippi...and east of it, too, frankly. :)

Your store looks AMAZING and I can't wait for it to open... when will that be? I live in Santa Monica and am excited about your West LA location!
